  • Launch iTunes. At the upper left of your screen, click "iTunes" > "Properties".
  • Click the "importing" tab, then select the file format you wish to convert your existing files to.
  • Close the "properties" window, then highlight the file(s) you wish to convert.
  • At the upper left of your screen, click "Edit" > "Convert".
